Steve recently photographed our wedding day at Basing House in Old Basing, Hampshire and did an absolutely fantastic job. He invested a lot of time in the initial meeting getting to know us and what we wanted from our day. On the day Steve was excellent, organising people for different photographs and also capturing many candid shots of us and our guests enjoying ourselves. His approach is very chilled which suited exactly what we wanted from the day. We couldn't be happier with the photos and would highly recommend SJC Photography!

"Where do we start, what a perfect man to do our photography at our wedding. He was patient, kind, fairly priced, willing to go above and beyond, he's an extremely nice bloke, his Mrs is lovely, they welcomed us in to his home for meetings providing tea/coffee and never worried about the time getting on when I talked his ear off, if you're looking for a photographer, please don't go to anywhere else, you wouldn't have even known he was there either, unless he was actually setting up group shots and of course, the pictures are stunning, he really knows his trade so give him a ring or else "😀

Steve was our wedding photographer for our small wedding in Hampshire in July 2022, and we would thoroughly recommend him. From our initial meeting with him, Steve was super relaxed and extremely professional. Because our wedding was so small (around 25 people) we were apprehensive that the photography might be intrusive, but we needn't have worried - Steve was extremely skilled at getting wonderful photos without being noticed, particularly during our ceremony. We both felt a little self-conscious about the 'couple shots' but Steve made us feel very at ease. We are delighted with the photos from the day, they captured the feel of the day so perfectly, and we will treasure them for years to come. Thank you Steve!

My wife and I recently commissioned Steve Chatterton to take some photographs to mark our 10th anniversary, and we were delighted with the end result.

Throughout the whole process Steve demonstrated a very high level of professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail. Once we had selected the pictures we wanted from the shoot session, we also opted to have the pictures professionally framed, which was also organised by Steve.

He took great care in involving us at the various stages of selecting frame types, finished materials and styles, as well as going through all the prints with us at length to ensure our total satisfaction with the finished product.

Finally, when the pictures were delivered from the framing centre, they were professionally packaged and protected for transit, and as stated when we saw the framed portraits we were thrilled with the end result, and now have pictorial memories that will last a lifetime.

I would not hesitate to recommend Steve for any type of photography requirements, and we found the whole experience very enjoyable and problem free.

A great experience for a family photoshoot. Quick to respond to our enquiry and easy to book. When we arrived at venue, found that Steve had arrived early, scouted the best locations and was already set up. He then did a great job in corralling all the family, including some young kids so that he was able to get some great photos. These were then sent to us very promptly. Would definitely recommend.

Steve really took the time to understand what it was that we liked about his photos and even did a few demo shots before the big day. From the moment we met Steve at a wedding fair back in 2016 we have been extremely pleased with the service offered. He is very professional, caring and understanding of your needs. The laid back approach we have had at our meetings is a welcome change, it makes you instantly strike a good relationship up thus making your preparations much easier as he gets a good understanding of you and your needs. Our pre-wedding photo shoot at our venue was a lovely idea and it gave Steve an insight into how we work together as a couple and also gave us ideas of photos we would like on the big day. Come the wedding day everything was 100% perfection. We have been back to view the photos taken, again it was all very chilled and relaxed, just need to choose some for our album, they are all so good, we have a hard decision to make.
